We offer a lifetime guarantee on our implants because we are convinced of their impeccable quality.

Have you lost one or more teeth?

If you have lost one or more teeth, or have completely toothless one or both jaws, then tooth replacement with implants is definitely the best option nowadays, both in terms of functionality and aesthetics.

Who do we recommend dental implant treatment to?

Dental implants are an excellent solution for missing teeth or a completely missing set of teeth. The crown attached to the implant will be just as beautiful and strong as the original tooth. Almost anyone can get a dental implant once their jaw has finished growing (18 years old). There is no upper age limit.

What are dental implants?

A dental implant is practically an artificial root that is implanted directly into the jawbone in place of a lost tooth in order to functionally perfectly replace the original tooth root. Most dental implants are made of titanium or ceramic.

Whether you have lost one or more teeth due to an accident, illness or natural wear and tear, we offer you first-class dental implants that look and feel as natural as if they were your own.

Implantation requires careful planning as there are many aspects to consider.

Construction of the dental implant

The implant itself is the screw that is implanted into the bone. It doesn’t stick out, nothing is

visible, just like a real tooth root. The inside of the implant is hollow; this is where the implant structure is screwed in, which protrudes from the gums but is not visible because the actual denture, the crown or the bridge sits on it.

Arguments for dental implants

  • Standard solution: Implants are safe and long-lasting.
  • Simple treatment: although many people are afraid of it, implantation is generally considered a routine procedure and in most cases is completely painless. Once healed, it will hold stronger than the original tooth.
  • We protect healthy teeth: When using a dental implant, it is not necessary to grind down healthy teeth, as is the case when using a dental bridge or dentures.
  • Many possible uses: If there is a small missing tooth, a crown can be placed on the implant; if there are several missing teeth, several implants can be connected to a dental bridge; if the jaw is completely toothless, they serve as the basis of a total bridge or full denture.

How is a dental implant treatment prepared?

Thorough planning is extremely important before implant treatment:

During the preliminary examination, a panoramic X-ray is first taken to record the status and to plan the ideal treatment, including the position of the implants.

Since the X-ray is only a two-dimensional image, a 3D image with CT must also be taken in order to decide whether the width of the jaw and the stability of the jawbone are suitable for the implants.

During the examination, the dentist determines whether the patient has a solid, strong bone structure. If the bone is solid, strong and robust, no bone grafting is required and the probability of ossification is almost 100%. In this case, the ideal solution is a metal-ceramic or zirconia crown or bridge attached to the implant.

Even if the bone stock is not sufficient and bone augmentation is not recommended, there is no reason to despair because All-on-4 or All-on-6 bridges can be another perfect solution.

In addition to bone mass, the patient’s general health also plays a crucial role in assessing whether appropriate treatment is possible. Circumstances that greatly influence the success of implant placement include diabetes or heavy smoking.

All-on-4 and All-on-6

The All-on-4 method offers a quick and cost-effective solution for patients who do not have sufficient bone stock.

Four or even six implants can be inserted per jaw during a one-day operation.

Thanks to this surgical technique, there is no need to build up bone, as the two rear implants are inserted into the jaw at a 45 degree angle to make maximum use of the available bone. This means that a fixed bridge can be built with just 4 implants, as opposed to the traditional 6, and the All-on-4 method significantly reduces costs.

The All-on-6 method is a variant of the All-on-4 technology with the difference that instead of 4 screws, 6 screws are implanted in order to achieve even better stability. The 6-implant variant is particularly recommended for the upper jaw.

Immediate implants

New teeth in one day.

If the bone situation is insufficient for normal implants, in some cases basal, immediately resilient implants can still help patients to have strong teeth. With this procedure, the implants are inserted into the lower (basal) bone layer and are immediately loaded with the dentures using a special construction in order to achieve primary stability. The implant must have a very high level of strength when it is inserted. The prerequisites here are favorable bone quality and a perfectly fitted special implant of sufficient size or length.

Since no bone augmentation is required when using the immediate load-bearing implants, the costs of the procedure are reduced significantly.

It is not for nothing that many people view this approach critically, as it is a very complicated treatment and many aspects have to be taken into account:

1. The bone situation must be perfectly suitable for basal implants

2. The odontologist must have extensive training and experience with this method.

3. The patient’s health status and lifestyle must be appropriate.

A very thorough preliminary examination and preliminary discussion must take place at the Flydent Clinic in order to determine whether immediate load-bearing implants are possible.

Ceramic implants

The Zeramex XT ceramic implant is made from hard zirconium oxide ATZ blanks, making it completely metal-free. After the final shaping of the dental implant, no thermal post-processing is carried out. This ensures that no further changes in the material structure can occur. This manufacturing process is very complex, requires a lot of experience and specialist knowledge and enables a high level of dimensional accuracy and precision in the production of the ceramic implant.

Cost of the implants

The price of implants is influenced by many factors, as you can see, primarily the brand and type. It’s worth getting extensive information, as the differences are roughly comparable to those of cars. There is also a wide range of implants from Volkswagen to Ferrari.

The individual costs consist of the artificial root itself, the associated structure and the crown placed on it. The price is influenced by the quality of the implants and the material used for the crown.
